January 27, 2026 (MLN): The Federal Government of Pakistan has officially appointed Mr. Muhammad Ali Farid Khwaja as Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for a three-year term, effective immediately.
Remuneration and allowances shall be determined under relevant provisions of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, according to a notice from Government of Pakistan Finance Division's Investment Wing.
Ali Farid Khwaja is a prominent Pakistani-British financier, investor, and entrepreneur, specializing in fintech, capital markets, and investment strategy.
He is widely recognized for his leadership roles, including serving as Chairman of KTrade Securities (KASB).
