Net finance income declined 38% to Rs1.90bn from Rs3.06bn.
Profit before taxation stood at Rs10.53bn, representing a 30% increase from Rs8.09bn in the corresponding period last year.
The company recorded a provision for taxation of Rs4.11bn, up 38% from Rs2.97bn, with the higher tax burden moderating net profit growth to 25%.
