May 18, 2026 (MLN): S.G. Power Limited (PSX: SGPL) is set to raise Rs535 million through a 300% right issue as the company moves ahead with its strategic expansion plans in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.
The Board of Directors approved, in principle, the issuance of 53.5m ordinary right shares at par value of Rs10 per share, aggregating to Rs534.996m, the on PSX revealed today.
The proposed issue will be offered in the proportion of approximately three right shares for every one ordinary share held by shareholders.
The company stated that the planned capital injection is aimed at strengthening its capital base, enhancing financial flexibility, and supporting future expansion and investment initiatives.
Book closure dates and other details related to the right issue will be communicated separately following completion of applicable regulatory and corporate requirements.
