June 08, 2026 (MLN): Wahdat Poultry Farm Limited (PSX:WAHDAT) has commenced rearing of an additional flock of 100,000 layer birds under its IPO-funded expansion plan, with commercial egg production from the new flock expected to begin in November 2026.
The company said the rearing process has formally begun and the flock is expected to attain laying maturity in accordance with the planned production cycle, after which eggs from the expanded capacity will enter commercial supply, according to company's on PSX.
The expansion is being funded through proceeds raised from the company's Initial Public Offering, marking a key milestone in the deployment of IPO capital toward the operational targets outlined at the time of listing.
The disclosure was made in compliance with Section 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book, which requires listed companies to immediately inform shareholders and the investing public of any material developments.
The addition of 100,000-layer birds represent a significant scale-up of the company's production base.
Once the flock reaches laying maturity and commercial egg production commences in November, the expanded capacity is expected to contribute meaningfully to the company's output and revenue.
