June 17, 2026 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will remain closed on Thursday, June 25, and Friday, June 26, 2026, in observance of Ashura, corresponding to the 9th and 10th of Muharram 1448 A.H.
In a notice issued yesterday, the stock exchange informed all Trading Right Entitlement (TRE) Certificate Holders, market participants, and staff about the two-day closure.
The announcement was made through notice number PSX/N-731, signed by Chief Operating Officer Jawad H. Hashmi.
The notification has also been shared with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the Central Depository Company of Pakistan (CDC), and the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL).
Trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange is expected to resume on Monday, June 29, 2026, following the Ashura holidays.
