July 01, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PSX:PPL) has received regulatory approval for the grant of a Development and Production Lease over Adhi Field, covering an area of 212.86 sq. kms located in the districts of Rawalpindi and Chakwal, Punjab Province.

The lease has been granted to the Adhi Joint Venture, comprising PPL as operator holding a 39% Working Interest (WI), Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) holding 50% WI, and Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) holding the remaining 11% WI.

It has been granted for a period of twelve years with effect from November 13, 2024, in accordance with Rule 30-A of the Pakistan Onshore Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Rules, 2013, on prescribed terms and conditions
