July 01, 2026 (MLN): Meezan Bank Limited (PSX:MEBL) has crossed Rs1 trillion in market capitalization, marking another historic milestone for Pakistan's third largest listed company and reinforcing its position as a leading force in the country's Islamic banking sector.
The development was highlighted in a LinkedIn post by Pakistan Kuwait Investment Company (Private) Limited (PKIC), a joint venture between the governments of Pakistan and Kuwait, which said it was proud to be a stakeholder in Meezan Bank's continued success.
The milestone reflects growing confidence in Islamic banking, driven by strong fundamentals, sustained growth and industry-leading performance.
It was stated that Meezan Bank continues to set the benchmark for Islamic banking as Pakistan advances towards a Riba-free financial system.
Furthermore, the bank's achievement was not only a reflection of its own institutional strength but also a broader indicator of the momentum building behind Shariah-compliant banking in the country.
The crossing of the Rs1 trillion market capitalization threshold showcases the scale Meezan Bank has achieved since its emergence as a dedicated Islamic bank.
