July 03, 2026 (MLN): Engro Fertilizers Limited (PSX:EFERT)  has shut down its Base Plant for unscheduled maintenance, with the forced outage tentatively expected to last around four days.

It was stated that necessary maintenance activities had already been commenced, after which the Base Plant was expected to resume normal operations.

Engro Fertilizers is one of Pakistan's leading fertilizer manufacturers, with its urea and other nitrogenous fertilizer production.

Unscheduled maintenance shutdowns at fertilizer plants can have a temporary bearing on production volumes and supply during the outage period, though companies typically resume operations once repairs are completed.
