July 13, 2026 (MLN): Meezan Bank has reached cumulative disbursements of Rs2bn under the Government of Pakistan's affordable housing initiative, Wazir-e-Azam Apna Ghar Program, Ghar Ho Tu Apna (GHTA).
The bank also recorded its highest-ever monthly housing finance disbursements, amounting to Rs1.3bn, showing increasing demand for its Shariah-compliant home financing products.
According to the bank, the latest milestones highlight its continued support for the government's affordable housing initiative while reinforcing its position in Pakistan's housing finance sector.
The financing aims to help individuals and families purchase homes through Shariah-compliant solutions.
Meezan Bank said it offers a range of housing finance products designed for salaried individuals, self-employed professionals, and overseas Pakistanis.
The bank added that it continues to expand its housing finance portfolio through simplified processes, its nationwide branch network, dedicated housing finance teams, and digital initiatives aimed at improving customer experience and reducing turnaround times.
