PSX Opening Bell: Bulls Set the Early Pace

July 15, 2026 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) opened on a strong positive note on Wednesday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index rebounding from the previous session's steep losses as investors engaged in value buying after heavy selloffs.

As of 9:45am, the benchmark KSE-100 Index stood at 176,202.88, up 2,684.07 points or 1.55%.

The index remained positive throughout the session so far, touching an intraday high of 176,344.73 (+2,825.92 points).


The total volume traded in the KSE-100 Index stood at 21.22 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies, 89 advanced, 6 declined, 1 remained unchanged, while 4 were untraded.

Top gainers during the session were YOUW (+4.44%), SCBPL (+3.82%), FATIMA (+3.60%), KTML (+3.37%), and CHCC (+3.31%).

In terms of index-point contributions, UBL (+373.08pts), MEBL (+170.87pts), ENGROH (+156.53pts), FFC (+148.66pts), and HUBC (+124.02pts) provided the biggest support to the benchmark.
