July 22, 2026 (MLN): Sakrand Sugar Mills Limited (PSX: SKRS) has completed the transfer of a 25% equity stake to incoming investors, marking a key milestone in the implementation of its board-approved Revival Plan.
In a e to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday, the company said the transaction was completed after obtaining all required regulatory approvals.
The company said the Revival Plan, details of which had previously been disclosed to the PSX, envisaged the acquisition of a 25% equity stake by incoming investor(s) through the purchase of shares from the existing sponsors and directors.
According to the disclosure, the completion of the share transfer represents one of the key components of the Revival Plan aimed at supporting the company's restructuring efforts.
Sakrand Sugar said the information was being shared to update shareholders on the progress made in implementing the Revival Plan.
The company did not disclose the identity of the incoming investor(s), the value of the transaction, or any changes to the board or management following the completion of the stake transfer.
