- Petroleum products off-take for Feb’25 stood at approximately 1.13Mn tons, reflecting a monthly decline of 18%. However, on a yearly basis, volumes were up 2%YoY.
- The MoM decrease in volumes was primarily attributed to unstable POL prices during February and smuggling activities.
- Specifically, volumes for MS increased 2%YoY but declined 11% MoM. HSD volumes witnessed a 4%YoY and 29%MoM decrease. Along with that, FO sales exhibited a mixed trend, declining 9% MoM, while increasing 7%YoY. The decline in FO sales was mainly due to reduced demand from FO-based power plants.
