- Pakistan Textile exports recorded 7% YoY growth in FY25, primarily led by Ready-made garments exports (+16%), followed by Knitwear (+14%) and Bedwear (+11%).
- Despite a strong recovery in exports, the value of exports remained lower than the levels seen in FY22/FY23 of US$19.3bn/ US$18.2bn. Textile exports contribution to Pakistan total goods exports stood at 56% for FY25 versus 60% in FY23.
- Going forward, we believe FY26 would be a challenging year for the industry under the new outlook for Global/US trade. Intermediary products exporters are likely to the face the pressure in case of weaker demand from the regional exporters, while producers with diverse market/ product portfolio are likely to gain in the longer run.
